Executive Presence is defined as “the qualities of a leader as seen through the eyes of others that engage, inspire, align and move people to act” (Source: BTS) and has long been acknowledged as a critical factor in leadership. However, its definition is often mysterious. People struggle to capture what it really means, and the default assumption is to equate presence with charisma and presentation skills. While these factors are important, they make up only a small piece of the ‘executive presence puzzle’ that helps leaders achieve sustained levels of success.

In the Leading with Executive Presence programme, I use the BTS Bates ExPI™ (Executive Presence Index), a proven, research-backed framework for enhancing presence and impact by understanding specific behavioural changes.

Using the science-based 360 assessment, you get a clear picture of how you show up as a leader and how others experience you. With these insights, you learn how small adjustments can strengthen your influence and help you lead with greater confidence.
